What does "DPI" stand for?
"DPI" is short for "Discount Photographic Imagination". This was the name our founders initially created both to express our goals and to have a fun play on words (i.e. "dpi" or "dots per inch" is the resolution of digital images). It is a bit of a mouthful, though, so we prefer just to say: DPI!

Our Goals
Our goals are to glorify God and to serve those who serve Him. All DPI profits go to directly full time work in the least-reached parts of our world!

DPI was created to provide a high quality product that is affordable to the typical ministry budget. We have done everything we can to keep expenses low so that we can keep prices low. At the same time, we have also determined that all profits will go back into the missionary/ministry community by employing professional designers who are already in ministry in one form or another and know what it is like to live with a ministry budget.

How does DPI keep prices so LOW?
Because one of our primary goals is to save our missionary brothers and sisters money, we do everything we can to limit overhead expenses while keeping quality high. We have established agreements with press printers and photo developing companies who print for us at reduced prices which we can then pass on to our customers. Most companies bump all of their prices up to cover the cost of credit cards. We have decided not to do that, but rather to offer our prices with out the credit card service increase. Instead, we use Pay-Pal for those who want the convenience of credit card shopping and simply ask that those who want this convenience pay a little extra for it so that others do not have to pick up that tab.

What Does DPI do?
DPI matches you with a professional designer to create a custom design prayer card for you. The designer will use your picture(s) and your desires for content and layout. We do not use any prefabricated layouts like many companies. These are true custom designs.

Why Should I Consider DPI?
DPI is committed to serving you as ministers, missionaries, or missions teams. We think there are three reasons you should consider letting us serve you:

1. Price: we are committed to offering the best prices for photo prayer cards on the web or anywhere. We see this as a service, not simply a business ploy.
2. Quality: What we offer is the highest quality available. We are offering large, 4x6 Photo cards, professionally designed, for the same price as smaller, lower quality cards elsewhere. All of our other products are also the highest quality available.
3. Missions commitment: All profits of DPI go to full time work in the least reached parts of the world. In addition, most if not all of our designers are committed ministers themselves who not only have significant graphic arts backgrounds, but who are also committed to spending their time and money in the service of Christ.
